Postcards

I’ve just just been away for a lovely weekend in Scotland and found some more postcards for my collection. I like to buy beautiful postcards when I’m out and about as they are such great prompts for writing. I prefer the ones that don’t have the name of the place written on the photo side, just on the reverse, because knowing the name of the place in advance can influence what people write or inhibit their inspiration.

One of the cards I bought this weekend has a photo of Schiehallion (a mountain in Perth and kinross, Scotland) rising above a valley filled with mist. Beautiful.
