Don’t forget about mindful writing

Why not do a little mindful writing every day? Just 5 minutes! Here is mine for today…

It is so quiet I can hear the small sounds.
Occasional ticks from the metal lamp beside me.
Creaks from the floorboards.
A murmuring as the water heats and rises.
Muted cheeps from birds who were serenading at dawn.
Almost I can hear my heart.
